VEO 180 Battery hatch..

I can't get the durn thing open!
Got the retaining ring off fine ..
after it's off the manual says

"Remove the Battery Hatch."

Thanks for the tip .. but how?

There is more detail on getting it out of the boot .. anyway .. any help?

Huh dunno i never had a problem, maybe you just have a little sand and salt in there. Don't ya just turn it to the unlock position and presto?

I use a fingernail under the edge of the cover (after you've removed the lock ring)

and be careful not to pinch O ring when pushing cover back on, use a tiny amount of silicone grease on the O ring

We have a winner! a couple seconds with an alcohol dipped Q-tip and presto..

Glad you got it, I've had to fight that before too (I thought when you said you got the retaining ring off fine, that you meant the locking ting)
