Hi guys,
I am a pretty new diver and I got really stuck with my Oceanic VEO 3.0 computer I have been diving lately. The manual says that it is autimatically set for "air" if not configured manually for anything else before a dive. As far as I understand in this simple case it should keep fraction of O2 that is FO2 = 21%. But when I surface it always says that my FO2 = 13. Does anybody know why is that? I learned the manual almost by heart after reading it for so many times trying to understand but I cannot seem to figure out why does it show FO2 = 13 all the time? It's no matter what I do, how deep I go it shows FO2 = 13 after each single dive. Could anybody help me out, please? I am starting to think that there is a mistake in the manual and the FO2 is actually the fraction of O2 of the water I dive in. This VEO 3.0 does not have any transmitters to monitor my remaining air.. it's on its own.. if that helps...
