Hello all, I'm looking at getting a wetsuit, now from size charts about the only factory sizes that would fit well are the Pinnacle King 1 or King 2 sizes. My issue is getting a suit that can work well in a wide range of temps, since I am in the lovely bipolar midwest I need a suit configuration that can handle 70F down to 50F or a bit lower. What I'm considering is either get the Pinnacle Cruiser 5mm or Cruiser 3mm then when cold water time comes around add the 5mm step in jacket or 7mm hooded step in jacket. What would people here who dive similar temp ranges recommend?

I dive with a 7mm suit and 7mm hooded vest in NE. Early season temps will be in the mid-40s and "warm" at depth is 50-56. If you don't chill too easily, 12 on the core should be fine, but perhaps not ideal.
