Hello,

I am currently configuring a setup for filming underwater videos and need your help.

The parts of the setup are as follows:

- Canon G7X + Canon Housing
- Tray for two ball arms
- two ball arms
- two video lamps

My goal is to make this setup as light as possible, while staying in a reasonable budget.

In this regard, I am unsure what video lamps to choose. Keldan and Weefine are way out of my budget. Can you recommend me something less pricey? Thank you!

For my 2023 rig build, I'm going with a pair of Backscatter 4300s. My videography instructor loves the things.

Well what's the reasonable budget?
I use two BigBlue Black Molly's. (the current version is BigBlue AL2900xwp)
While they provide more than enough light for the murky waters in the Netherlands. They have a hard time producing enough light for clear tropical waters.

They go for €350 each.

I use two Backscatter 4300s. The batteries easily last for an entire dive. In fact, during night dives I leave the video lights turned on for the entire dive.
