If you're interested in the Mergui on the Faah Yai, here's a very extensive trip report from this spring. Take care in selecting a cabin.

If you want to do some of the northern Thailand sites as well, e.g., Richelieu Rock, and be on a more upscale boat, check out the Ocean Rover http://207.158.246.122/

I'd suggest the latter itinerary & boat.

Happy holidays.

IF you are looking for a great site to look at a myriad of boats that travel to Burma try the following:

http://www.siamdivers.com

I've just owrked throug hthe process with them. They are very helpful. All e-mails sent to them were returned in a day. Also, they seem to be regarded as the foremost experts on Thailand. One of the only diving books on Thailand was written by one of the owners.

All of their prices and schedules seem to be up to date as well.

Cheers,

Kevin

It's not really "Siam Divers," but rather "Siam Dive 'n Sail." That's simply their website designation.

If you're interested in learning a little more about the op, you can do so by reading the trip report link I posted just above.

Happy holidays.
