How do you see it as much less expensive???? Last time I sent something in, I was charge the shipping costs by my LDS. Plus then you have to wait until the LDS gets around to shipping it for you. If I can take care of it myself, why involve a third party.
 
SCUBAPRO recommends sending all repairs and service to our Authorized Dealers. They have been trained to take care of all our products and your needs. If they cannot do the repair locally, then they will send back to Tech Support and coordinate the repair for you.

Service costs are at the discretion of the Dealer depending on their time, labor and administration.
