Ever think of using a thumb screw (plastic knob) to facilitate simpler removal of your weight plates? I don't know if others have to change exposure protection as much that causes needing to remove the weight plates, but throwing the idea out there...

The current fastener are Stainless Button head allens. Very low profile. That matters as the fastener heads for the weight plates are on the diver's side of the plate.

It takes only a minute or two to mount or remove the plates using the current button head allens.
