I recently purchased a ScubaPro Mk18 first stage and S 550 second. I have ten dives on this reg and it has performed flawlessly...... until my last dive. It seemed to breathe wet in any position.

Any idea what may be wrong?

or other similar thing is usually the cause of that.

The other possibility is improper assembly, and the diaphram has slipped out of its groove in one point.

Try inhaling with the reg on a tank and the valve OFF. If you can hear a "hiss" anywhere (it should refuse to provide ANY air and there should be no noise)

If you hear a hiss, find the leak. I bet its some crud stuck under the exhaust valve flapper. No big deal to fix.
