I was just rinsing out my dive gear from a trip yesterday. I have used a product sold at my local scuba shop in the past for sanitizing, aka something to get rid of the stink, and really get the neoprene rinsed well...along with the rest of my dive gear...so, my question is what do you all use and do with your dive gear for thorough rinses and/or sanitizing? Thanks for replies...

If I get back from a salt water dive, I soak mine in my tub for a day, then I rinse it out and let it dry.

Now that I have a nice new HE front loader washing machine...
I throw it all in there on the super gentle delicate cycle with a little listeren.

I just let it soak in fresh water, then hang it up to dry. Never stinks....

My booties are a different story - I soak those in a mixture of water and a bit of normal shampoo to get rid of the stink.

Wet suit booties & BC exterior - Soak in fresh water with wet suit shampoo, then rinse with fresh water and hang to dry.

BC interior - Use BC life with fresh water

Dry suit - Hose down with fresh water

Rinse/soak with plenty of fresh water ASAP so no crystals form and hang to dry. I haven't had any problems with stink yet.
