Going on a cruise March 11 - 18.
Diving St Thomas & St Marteen.
Will a 3mil full be good?
Should I get a hood?
How about Key west after the cruise?

Thanks,

Dave

I was in St Thomas several years ago in February. I used a 3 with no hood. But I'm pretty warm natured. If I remember correctly the water temp was in the upper 70's.

Water temp in St. Thomas should be in the upper 70's in March. However, I believe the water temps in Key West may be in the mid-70's that time of year....though I don't know first hand.

I'd say a 3mm full suit will work fine for both if you're at all cord tolerant. Plus since you're only doing 2 tanks, you're less likely to get cold than someone who is diving repetitively.
