thanks lemna ok what about risks of health..... i mean what if the mixture maker inside the rebreather is not working properly......when you are under water about 140 feet or above....
You are relying on many different critical items in a rebreather. If any of them fail, bad things happen.
Too much oxygen? Convulsions.
Too little oxygen? Hypoxia.
It's a simple idea, with great and useful application, but the technology, while better and far more advanced than it was, is still not 100% reliable.
