What is a Typhoon Dump Valve

On this website Typhoon Apeks Low Profile Dump Valve | Dolphin Scuba Center, they are selling a Apeks Typhoon low profile dump valve. Is this the standard one? Without typhoon, it seems to be ~30USD more expensive.

Not sure, it's either just marketing or it does actually vent faster as the name suggests. Never heard of before. Hopefully a rep, Todd, will advise.

I can't shed any light on your question, other than to point out that "Typhoons" are violent tropical storms involving lots of moisture. Seems like the last thing I'd want associated with a "dry" suit.
