Recently someone posted a thread in the W&C section called "What Irks You?" To date, there have been 146 responses.

Of course it's fun to whine and cheeze a bit, but there's more power in positive thinking. I'd be interested to see whether the SB denizens lean more to the positive or to the negative.

So----what makes you happy?

I'll start with a few:

1. Anticipating a dive trip; diving; remembering the dive trip!
2. Talking about diving.
3. Getting a friendly PM or email.
4. Words of appreciation/affirmation.
5. The silvery path of the full moon on the lake outside my window.
6. An unexpected, "happy-day," present.
7. A hug from someone who loves me.
8. Going shopping.
9. Throwing a party.
10. Getting on the plane and going somewhere fun. I'm doing that this weekend! (Niagara Falls with my SO, just for the fun of it.)
11. Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens LOL :crafty:

Ok how about...

6)music
7)sucessfully meeting a challenge

Here are a few of my favorite things:

Grabbing my hand for security as I walked them to school for the first time
Seeing the magic in their eyes as they talked to Santa

Watching a sunset
Just being at home or near my love...we don't have to talk, FAIW he can be reading the paper or watching TV, just feeling him near and being able to make eye contact and catch that smile in his eyes
