What makes you happy?

Sharing a favorite dive site with someone for the first time. The looks on their faces reminds me of the first time I had dived there. It's the same good feeling you got in elementary school when you walked in the classroom and saw the projector set up.

Among other things:

- Doing a good job.
- Laughter
- Children playing
- Children sleeping (whew)
- Night dives
- Long walks in the woods
- Getting home on cold winter days
- New experiences
- Seeing people being nice to each other.

The smell of fresh brewing coffee in the morning when someone else got up first to make it...

A great book

A movie with an ending that make me cry "happy tears"

my family

my friends

seeing someone smile, and knowing that you put that smile there

a hug when you werent expecting it

getting an actual letter in the mail.. not just junk

getting flowers for no reason

Things that make me happy.

The tranquility that I feel while diving
The awsomness of nature when I go camping
Observing animals above or below water
My wife and 2 children (most of the time)
My grand daughter
When my grand daughter hollers Pap Paw upon seeing me
When my children come home to visit and not ask for money
An occasional Burbon and Coke
Being as one with nature
A good NASCAR race
Knowing that I did make a differance
Helping others
Making a new friend

Interesting thread. 7 pages long. Most of what makes people happy is the simple stuff. I Love You, sunset/sunrise, diving.

What makes me happy (not in any order)

Sunrise on the beach, seeing the green flash

Knowing I have been given another day to live

Sweet kisses and hugs from Hermit Crab

Diving, seeing Gods wonders and knowing how fortunate I am to be doing it

Bills that are paid

Roof over my head

Food on the table

Bed to sleep in

I am loved

Spiritual relationship with my God

Knowing I am not always right

Finding Scubaboard.com

Butterflies

Listening to life

Good friends

Completed projects

Line dried sheets

The smell of sweaty horse tack

Decorating the house for Christmas

Romance

ok Im 4 months late for this thread but anyway..My list is just like Scuba_Jenny minus the butteryflys and decorating (Im terrified of both) plus a good book on a cold day and hanging out with my critters (husband included), cheese and olives makes me oh so happy and I loveeeeeeee camping especially camping and diving combined! Did I mention diving? Oh, I did. I havent seen the green flash yet but I will oneday!
