What strobes can fit the SL32 SL-RM Mini

What strobes can I use for the Sealife SL320. I see lots of older cameras on ebay that have strobes for a very cheap price.

Can I assume that as long as the strobe works without an electrical connection to the camera (senses the flash) and will mount on it (the SL320 has a mounting thread) it will work?

I don't have a budget for a new Sealife strobe as I just purchased the SL320 Mini and yes from my LDS.
