Any thing can be made to look good on paper, at least to someone................

hence idiocracy of buraucracy.

Were the Speigel Grove, Duane, Bibb, Oriskany bad ideas and a problem for the environment? Surely these old ships are more of a concern then a bunch of goofy concrete structures.

If you said the idea is silly and gaudy I would agree.

According to Shadow Divers ship wrecks are good for attracting marine life.

Didn't the Navy go to great lengths to clean the inside of the Oriskany before she was sunk to limit any negative environmental impact?
