2 dives in Muldrew Lake in Gravenhurst. Visibility about 4 feet and black as the darkest night beneath about 20 feet. 70+ on the surface and 46 at at 38 feet. Max bottom time was about 38 minutes (computer not in front of me right now).

Went diving yesterday, late afternoon, Yaquina Bay/South Jetty/4th & 5th finger/Newport/South Beach, Oregon. Visibility was about 7 ft, which is good for the Jetty, but it was unusually clear a couple of weeks ago w/15 feet!. No dungeness crabs, but my buddy picked up 9 good sized red rock crabs. It was windy/choppy at 25 knots and 30 to 35 gusts. Knocked me off balance after the first dive and I banged myself up a bit, but did another dive and felt fine (until the evening - ice on the leg). Once we got in the water, it was fine.

Catalina Island, Casino Dive Park.

Two great dives!

Lake Michigan out of Hammond, IN with N' Pursuit. Don't remember the wreck names but, I was really impressed.

Bottom temp....mid to high 50'sF. Surface 71F

1st dive 30min

2nd dive 55 min

Both about 40ft max

Anilao Philippines - Bahura! Dropped down to 100 this morning. Wow was it beautiful!!!!

& on the second dive I did my first practice run with doubbles down to 30ft ;-)!

Did a single dive in Vinkeveen today, a freshwater lake in the Netherlands. It was busy, as usual, and visibility was fairly poor, about 3 meters. Things improved below the thermocline at -10m. The usual fishes were spotted: perch, pike and zander.

Went to Grotviks Harbour today. Perfect conditions and on homeground what else could beat that?

However the first dive was awesome, about 6-8 meters vis, and no current what so ever! First one lasted about 57 minutes.

On the second dive (after the diveschool had been on their first) vis was not that great close to shore but on the way out it all cleared up...But close to the 'big rock' it was a fkn strong 'home'-current so we turned the dive and settled on 4.5-5 meters and just played around for a bit and then surfaced after 54 minutes.

A really fair day of diving after beeing on a metal-festival in gothenburg called 'Metaltown'. Great weekend with both great music and great diving!
