I am looking for the best HDV camera and housing without budget constrain.
Which model do you recommand?

My most important critiria is compact, adjustable under water (white balance and other important functions) and good video quality.

It will be best if it use hard disk for storage.

Can any one suggest?

Currently, none of the camcorders/housing combinations will meet all your requests.

The best in terms of picture quality and adjustabliity are not small.

The smallest HD cams won't be very adjustable.

The cams with hard disk storage aren't adjustable either.

The cams with external hard drives are large.

You can get a medium sized cam with access to manual white balance but they record to tape.

The question should be, What market do you want the final product to be in? Theatres? Television? DVD?

Theatres and DVD are environments that are recommended to shoot at 24fps. Television in USA is NTSC enviroment. This is an interlaced world.

Choose your cams based on tech variables like that.

Theres several out there and if budget doesnt matter go for TRUE HD. Do your research. I could talk for days but not appropriate here.

If you need any post-production help. I'm your guy. It's what I do for living. Check Link
