I just discovered that I will be in Bradenton with time for exactly one morning's worth of diving - Tuesday the 12th. I'm not familiar with the region, but I've got about 50 dives under my belt and am hoping to make it at least 52 by next week... Anyone want to go diving?
I'm not too shabby in the bouyancy/air sucking dept., but my first dive will be a "trim" dive since I've been out of water for most of a year. I'm observant about safety, and interested in having a good time and seeing the sights/taking pictures more than depth. Buddies/suggestions welcome.

You may want to try a Venice beach shark tooth dive - for information do a search on this board for "Venice shark tooth". There is plenty of information out there.

You could also try the Regina or Spanish rocks - again do a search on the board and you'll come up with plenty of information on those two spots.

If nothing else, the Tampa bay area has it's share of dive boats you may want to look into. We have a SB member "Capt Ty" who hangs out in this forum, you may want to PM him and see what he's got going on that day.

I unfortunately can't dive that day - I take way too much time off from work to dive as it is...

Regards,
Dave.

Scuba Quest out of Bradenton runs two charter boats and dive several days a week. If you don't have a dive buddy you might want to give them a shout. They have a pretty good crew usually.
