I'm new to underwater videography, and have just ordered a Sony PC1000 and an Ikelite housing. I'm curious to find out if:
1. I should also get a wide angle lens (like an Epoque DCL-20) to shoot with, or just go without the wide angle lens altogether? BTW - I'm not into closeup photography, just want to capture images of fellow divers, fish, etc.
2. The 2nd question has to do with the need for an external light(s). If I'm just going to be shooting on relatively shallow day dives with good ambient light, should I get external lights? And if so, what is a reasonable light setup to get that will not cost a fortune?
Opinions and experience greatly appreciated.
