...at Whitecliff Bay, Vancouver BC. About 8m depth on the sand in the middle of the bay.

Worm (maybe?) 15cm long, 5mm diameter, smooth skin, pale in color but not transparent with a yellow dorsal stripe towards the back.

Moved quickly with a snake-like ripple with head raised above the sand. Head appeared to be a darker greyish in color with an elongated snout.

No circumference stripes, cant find anything like it in my books...

Any ideas anyone?

On second thoughts, it may have been a pipe fish....
