Thanks all. As for diving, if i am wet I am having fun. I wiil look at all sites. This is my first trip there, going to guess not my last. Hoping to see more suggestions, and you never know, may see youon the boat.

If it was me- I am guessing you fly into and out of Cairns via Sydney, so you'd have to bus it to Townsville to dive the Yongala- I would save the wreck diving for Sydney HMAS Adelaide - Home and concentrate on the Great Barrier reef out of Cairns/preferably stay at Port Douglas and dive the outer reef areas from Port Douglas.
