.. Yeah this was the Indianapolis mission right?, The one that Quint so elegantly describes in that famous seen on the orca in Jaws. Basically the shark species attributed to these attacks wasnt really Bull sharks or Great whites but mainly the Pelagic scavenger, The oceanic white tip (Not to be mistaken with the reef species that is relatively harmless). Very aggressive if acountered whilst floating in the middle of the ocean nobody even knowing you and hundreds of others are there.. and whats worse beeing told to splash aroud to scare them off. Big mistake by the navy there!
