This event is open to anyone interested in seeing the new X-scooter. We will be at the quarry at 9am, admission is $17 for divers/test pilots and land lubbers will be free.
Here is a typical itinerary of events:
9:00am Start - Attendees Registration and Paperwork
Make sure you register and get your Door Prize ticket. (must register to be able to ride the scooter and receive your Door Prize ticket).
9:30 - 10:00am - Formal Presentation and Q & A.
A formal presentation by a Dive X staff member on the components, features and benefits, design theories, x-scooter setup and basic riding tips.
10:00am - 11:30am - In water Demo Rides
In teams of three (two participants and 1 X-team member) participants will have a chance to ride the X-scooter. Generally these rides will last approx 1/2 hour (30min). Note: Dive Xtras will supply ample x-scooters for the day but it is always best if you RSVP with us ahead of time. This will help us estimate how many X-scooters to bring.
11:30 First Door Prize Drawing
11:30 - 12:00 - Learn a new Skill
A Presentation from a qualified instructor on a skill from the Dive Xtras User Manual/DVD to practice and perfect.
12:00 - 12:30 - Current Owners Dive and skill evaluation
Current owners will have a chance to go for a ride with qualified instructors that can evaluate and give tips and techniques to the current owner on how they are progressing with their riding skill
12:30 - 1:00pm Final words and Door Prizes
Some final words from the Dive Xtras staff and second door prize drawing.
(Some Demo's will be followed by a BBQ and another dive depending on logistics and Dive Sites).
