I purchased a Pure Tek System (30 lb wing configuration) with Single-Tank-Adapter (STA) option. The STA supplied is different from the one shown in the instruction manual. The one purchased is identical to the one shown on website-it contains wingnuts instead of flat nuts. Also, the tank straps have grommets.
The instructions have the bolt coming from front of the plate (diver's back) to the outside and then fastened with flat nut. The bolt provided with the STA has a square shaft head that corresponds to the STA plate bolt opening; therefore, I assume the bolt passes through the STA plate and the wingnuts are fastened behind the diver's back side of the plate. Is this correct?
Also, what are the grommets on the straps for?
