Shoot RAW and worry about fixing WB later if it is necessary.

Well yes and no.

I always shoot RAW, and while I know it saves every wb combination, in my experience I am able to get richer colours when using manual wb, raw and photoshop compared to using auto wb, raw and photoshop. I cannot document this in any way, but I believe there's a difference.
 
I prefer not to spend a ton of time in photoshop when I'm back after a trip too :) Seems like right after 30 - 35ft the xz-1 is a royal pain to do a auto wb
