What Phil said, but for most there are 3-4 primary differences...glass is usually more expensive; glass is less likely to scratch than acrylic but if scratched harder or impossible to repair, while scratches can be removed from acrylic. Glass is usually thought to shed water better, making it easier to use for over/under shots. Glass is usually heavier which can be a benefit or a disadvantage depending on your particular situation.
