Help with Identification (age), Scuba Pro regulator, and missing parts

The only thing missing is the metal piece on the 2nd stage cover.
 
Having it serviced, shop thinks it may be an MK 17 first stage, but parts are same as MK 25. Reg is light, it is titanium, will be great for traveling, waiting for service at local LDS to be complete, then I'll try it out.
 
Mk17 is a diaphragm regulator; Mk25 is a piston regulator. You have a Mk25. Your shop claims same parts kits? Find a new reg tech. NOW.

Looks like there is a spot where it pushes in, any idea where I can buy that part? Going to check with Scuba Pro.

You cannot buy directly from Scubapro.

If your LDS is charging you for a MK17 parts kit, you are getting ripped off. Who misidentified this as a MK17? That’s a seriously bad mistake. I would not take any more advice from them.
 
The "cage", let's call it trim, missing from face plate is not a seperate item. You must purchase complete face plate assy. I'll look into it. Unlikely to still be available though.
