Has anyone who dives with the 4way Antartica suit also dove with a Weezle extreme or extreme plus? I was wondering how they compared in bulkiness and ability to compress.

I have the Antartica and have only dove it once so far.
I have the Ant, and I now have a Weezle Extreme Plus about to go on order (already committed). I can let you know once I've had a chance to dive the WEP in a nice, chilly place.

(I don't know what my Christmas is going to look like. It may be January before I get the dives in -- J.'s flying over from Tokyo for vacation, and she's ever so slightly higher priority than you. :D)

My review on the 4WAY flex dry suit fleece undergarment:

Seller is very nice/easy to work with and quick shipping

Undergarment fit pretty well, huge in the torso area but I just do a fold over/tuck thing under by drysuit and that seemed to work well. Fits very well in legs and arm though, probably could have gone a size smaller but better to be too big than too tight and not be able to move. I made a very quick alteration before my first test dive, I cut out the pockets. I didn't see much need in having pockets and certainly no need for pockets that were ~9 inches deep, that is a lot of extra fleece flapping around. No big deal, pair of scissors, some thread, and ~15 mins and I am no seamstress.

Overall, great product for the price, will probably pick up a thicker one for colder water. I dove it in the FL caves for up to 2 hrs and didn't get chilly!

I suggest going one size smaller. my fleece one was cut huge. I went a size smaller and still had room. But I'm a big boy, so that may be limited to the larger (xxl vs xl) sizes.

good call on the pocket. I keep forgetting to cut mine out, but they are huge and bulk things up down there...

at 5'11" and 200lbs do you think that the Large would fit me well. I think that I am going to order a 4 WAY ANTARCTICA.

Thanks
Phil

Based on my experience, no. I am 5' 9" 185 lbs and the Large (Quilted 200 g 3-Way) is almost too short for me. If I was an inch taller it wouldn't fit.

Contact the seller with your dimensions, he will let you know what to get. He replied to me very quickly.

As he did me :)

How does the large fit you? and how thick is the 200g quilted?
I see many are going to that even in the colder waters here (50f and up) ... I can't decide between that and the 340g
.. I'm 5'8" and 185lbs 39" chest, 34" waist .. I'm wondering if there will be lots of bagginess in the Large 4way stretch fleece garment
Thanks

Interesting. I'm 5'8" 155lbs and *SMALL* quilted is just right for me..fits like a glove. Medium was easily too big. Go figure.

I dived the 200/240 quilted 3-layer to 46F with a thermal base layer beneath and was warm. My feet were freezing too (drysuit n00b, can't keep the air in there) but rest of me was comfy enough - not cozy or anything but certainly not chilly.

5' 8" and small fits? Maybe I got the wrong size? The bag was labeled "L" and that is what I ordered but... Weird.

The garment is about 1/2" thick. It fits easily under my shell suit. It would be great for 50F+, for me... but I think I run warmer than most people.

Hudson, get some wool socks for your feet, that works great for me.

Hi everyone, just wanted to say thanks for all the posts and feedback on these suits. I just ordered my Pinnacle Evo 2 and will be getting one of the quilted 3 layer suits shortly. I'll be sure to let you all know how it turns out once everything comes in and I get a dive in it.
