I'd be happy to meet up with you for some diving as well. Are you going to Mexico Beach to Dive the Empire Mica? I've been looking to get that dive in and it's on my short list for this year.

I didn't realize you had so few dives, sorry. I think it's wise for you to avoid the Empire for awhile then! I'd still be happy to do some shore diving with you while you are here though. Let me know what your thoghts are and I'll see what I can accomodate.

Nice Pics - it won't be long and I can go with you guys! Water is getting nice on temp. Not bad vis as well - we had a crap load of rain and wind these days! I did my confined dives this past weekend and it was pretty amazing. I go back this weekend for my check outs in Pensacola. I'm hoping to do some beach dives if the wind dies down. They were saying 4 footers for Saturday. If not, I will probably end up in Vortex. After that - who knows where this sport will take me. Man - nice video of the shark - they are some out there..

This has to be considered the mother of all Destin Jetty dive reports! The photos are absolutely fantastic, and the stories about the shark and the toadfish that was eaten and then spit out are great. I'm surprised there was so much life there so early in the year before the water temps have warmed much.
