If you convert, make sure you get the 300bar DIN.

You'll need a 1" socket and torque wrench to do the conversion - these can be hard to source. A mistake can damage the 1st stage. Especially the threads, which are dissimular hardness metals. If you have any doubts, let a SP service tech do the actual conversion.

I don't think SP even sells the 200 bar fitting any more, at least I haven't seen one in a while. You don't really need the 1" modified socket; you need it to install the yoke retainer, but for removal you can use a big adjustable wrench or even a vice to hold the yoke nut and just spin the reg off. It'll be a bit of a tug.

You do need the allen wrench socket and torque wrench to install the DIN.

All my regs and tanks are DIN. I've never regretted doing the conversion.

Me too. I love my DINs, I wish there were more rental tanks in DIN when I am out of town. I have to use a DIN-to-Yoke converter.

um with the turrent gets restricted , i like putting it pointing down , however with the yolk , it doesn't really let me very easily , the vslves on the cylinders are j valves or not sure what they called , it just sits funny , anyone know were the instructions are lurking ? i tried the one site mentioned to no avail :) , my sp dealer will sell me the kit for what would be $60 , i want to change it myself so that if i ever have to use yolk again i can just change it back myself as opposed to using the converter with seems bulky ,

Reconfigure your hoses.

Reconfigure your hoses.

its not the hoses , the valve to turn on the cylinder is very high so messes evrything up , hard to explain ...

Yoke is junk. Stop buying that crap and dive operators will replace the valves on their rentals much quicker. Only place in the world I've seen yoke valves is in the Caribbean btw.

Those regs work great on an angle with the primary hose poking out the bottom.

Instructions:
1. Use BIG adjustable spanner to unscrew yoke retainer nut
2. Screw in the DIN connector with allen key
Just make sure it's tight, but don't go full force on it. Just using 2 fingers should do it.
