I have had no problem with mounts thus far. I have had the Intova mounted to the Z Gear, helemt, head, mask and tray. I can't think of any other way to mount it that I would need. My favorite is the helmet mount for several reasons. Enjoyed the video JJDig. Care to share your setting and editing software?

What is that complete setup there?

To the OP:

You say you are a new diver.

Become a good, experienced diver first, with superlative buoyancy and situational-awareness skills, THEN get a camera.
Too many new divers get a camera right away, and stay not-very-good divers, poor photographers, and terrible buddies.

Sorry to be a downer, but that's the truth.

Do you mean the helmet setup? If so then it is a homemade helmet converted from a snowboard helmet, arms and attachments are BigBlue and the lights are Bigblue VL1800 Welcome To Bigblue Dive Lights . I have two lens that I can change out which are 80 and 120 degrees. Here a few pictures taken from the video I shot in Cow cave. The very and I mean very bright light you see on right is my Bigblue TL2500P. I'll try and post the video post editing.

I am about to get the intova, but I am stuck for the stick to shoot at distance with.

Is there an actual product made for either the Intova or the GoPro?

Humm, I have yet to try it but after you get a few adapters you get very inventive and make up all kinds of applications. I.e. If you have a stick then all you have to do is drill a hole into it and place a bolt long enough to go thru it while exposing a few threads. Simply screw the camera down and you are done. OBTY for cheap insurance use the small hold on the side and place a zip tie thru it and secure it to your mount.

Last thought, you can get several different GoPro mounts pretty cheap at Walmart.
