Hi, I have been diving at Anilao since 2002, and have stayed about 36 times at Club Ocellaris.
Four dives per day, excellent diving, comfortable, good food and super staff. Most reasonable rates and shuttle to the Manila airport. email: peripaleracio@yahoo.com

how do i contact Club Ocellaris for quote? their website is not working anymore..

"Peri M. Paleracio" <peripaleracio@yahoo.com>, Joy Napenas <napenas_joy@yahoo.com>, Boy Venus <boyv@clubocellaris.com>
These are the three emails I have for Club O. Hope they work for you. Thank you for asking.

I would also look at Buceo Anilao. Did 8 Day there in May (A little too hot). Rooms and food are great.
The diving is as good or better than Lembeh.

Here are some of my images from trip

Buceo Anilao Beach & Dive Resort - samplin

Thanks for the pics! I'm about to pull the trigger on 6 nights here in March! Looking forward to it!!

Is the diving in Anilao as small muck (Macro) as in Lembeh?

My wife will be in the Phils in December to see family, and wants to dive in the Phils but is not very interested in macro stuff. Anilao sure is convenient@

A lot more colourful and not looking at black sand most of the time.
And if she loves nudibranch then this is one of the place.

Very muck like Lembeh.. But there are a also a sfew Coral reef. I go for the macro photography. Very easy long dives.

My experience at Buceo was that it was not like Lembeh. Tons more nudis and most very easy to find. And we visited a fair number of reefs so it was a nice mix of reef and macro. Some of the dives had great corals and great nudis, too. I think it would work. And she might get hooked on nudis.

We stayed at crystal blue a couple of years ago but didn't care for the attitude and management of the place

Hi ronski, could you perhaps expand on the details?

I am not waving a flag for Crystal Blue, but having stayed there four times now I have only had a good time and even when traveling solo there I have my own boat and guide, what could be better for a photographer?

However during my last trip in April this year we were not allowed to shore dive and had to use the boat, which I found rather nonsensical.

We did dive at the beach next to Buceo Anilao, and that was an excellent muck site. Can you "grab a tank and go" and shore dive at BA?

I have plans to return to Anilao next year so I might be willing to spend a few days at BA just to check it out, but since there will be two of us I still prefer to have my own boat and guide and lose the crowds.

One thing that would sell any resort for me is having an espresso after my morning dive :D

That spot is called "Secret garden", an excellent divesite indeed if not one of the best in Anilao, especially for Phyllodesmium, Janolus and Thecacera sp nudis..

I remember I asked BA on this same board about 2 years ago and they replied they didn't allow shore dives, only boat dives because of current issues (quite strange explanation if you ask me since it's a bay quite secluded from raging currents, when going there with a bangka we usually walk the beach from our knee deep surfacing point to our landed boat. The only shore dive from a landed boat I know.)
