Hard to find?

Amazon.com lists 11 sellers of the 8080 with an average price of $489. It's come down since I paid about $600 for mine in January.

I have the Oly8080 with the Ikelite housing and a DS-125 strobe. I really do like it. The only real drawback, as mentioned above, is the slooooow shutter time for RAW format. And I do like to shoot RAW underwater.
