Any reason to avoid scuba.com?

I won't mention what dive computers I currently have. Suffices to say, I'm looking to upgrade after 20+ years. Any reason not to use scuba.com to pick up a Perdix 2 w/ transmitter? Seems they're $100 off retail.

No local dealers near me, so seems online is my best choice.

Your best price is probably the Shearwater store on Amazon, where the combo is $1390, shipped.

As LeisurePro, they were excellent. Back then, Scuba.com wasn't so good. With a merger, the Scuba.com name is essentially the old LeisurePro, and has become a reliable name brand.

Is the haptic alarm worth that much to you? that, and the ability to read four transmitters, are the only differences, I think.
