Check out the SB 2014 invation to Roatan page. Last week we had some really great shark dives, including swim arounds. Several really good videos were posted.

If you've ever been in the ocean then you have been with sharks... just because you dont see them does not mean that they dont see you 8^o

NC in August the Sandys are congregating and giving birth. We swam amongst more than we could ever comprehend!!

You can skip the first 4:30 and get right to the shark nest action.

Agree with everybody who mentioned the sand tigers off of the NC coast. Never been to the Spar and not seen them. A trip to Belize is great if you want to be in the water with whale sharks and almost every island that I have been to in the Bahamas has produced plenty of reef sharks.

Here's one of my YouTube videos with Caribbean reef sharks. Wish I'd had a camera in Tahiti though... LOTS of sharks there

Just did Malupasqua and Oslob, heaps of Threshers and Whale sharks.
Highly recommend it.
Ive seen other sharks when surfing and it is not as comfortable when your not sure what species it was you saw, especially in Southern Australia .

Like xyrondomyx mentioned. We often dive free with Seven gill sharks from our shores. I have also had the privilege of diving free with ragged tooth sharks in Cape Town and Whale sharks in Sodwana. As well as a playful Southern right whale. I count myself as blessed to have dived with all these creatures despite my limited dive experience. I must say I am still wary of that big white one!

I'd imagine that lots of members of the board have gone swimming with sharks. Did a whitetip dive recently myself.
