Does spin armed mean that it arms with a centrifugal force type trigger?

Yep. It may also have a kick-back arming mechanism (depending on when it was manufatured). Remember, most of the military's munitions are old, vietnam era sometimes. It is already unstable and now it is sitting in water, in you r pocket, bumping along in your truck. Really lame to be around if it was HE. HE has a 5 meter "kill" radius.

Cool find though. I'd have brought it home. But I am stupid sometimes.
