Has anyone stayed at either place? Both are advertised on Expedia as allowing pets and look like a bargain for $149.00-159.00

Just hoping someone can confirm whether either is a dump. :)

Once again Kawama's has won over the rest. Once people find out and see pictures they can't believe the price:D Thank you everyone for your posts.

Marina Del Mar is fine. I don't travel with a dog and I don't know if the Holiday Inn next door allows pets or not, but these days I'd rather stay there because the rooms and grounds are nicer and its basically as close to the marina.

Just stayed at Marina del Mar a couple of weeks ago. It was set up thru Key Largo Brent & Blue Water Divers. We paid a few bucks over $100 a night with the dive package discount. The room was clean & comfortable, and actually had a good sized fridge. We had a marina view which was very nice. Breakfast was included - pretty decent variety of stuff, and it was a very short walk along the water to the dive boat.

I forgot to mention, the Suites also has in-unit free wireless internet.
