Of course the bleached tips of coral - nearly not as bad as what I’ve seen from photos in Florida but it’s a preview of death and what’s to come if we don’t protect our reefs.

I agree, but it's impossible to protect them from warmer water.

Yes, but the thermal inertia of the world's oceans is such that any measures we take now will take years or decades to show any appreciable effect.
