When oriented with the 1/2 inch port on the right side, it's positioned behind the standard LP port, which means if you install your necklace on it, and put your primary SS on the standard port, your hoses will cross (since your necklace routes forward and your primary routes downward to tuck underneath your canister).

It's really not much of a concern ... I just found it easier (since I'd have to buy one anyway) to purchase a 1/2 inch 7-foot hose and route the hoses so they wouldn't have to cross each other.

I'm probably not understanding you correctly. Aren't the ports oriented as follows (from cylinder to diver) - 3/8" first, then 1/2"? If so, it seems if you put your short hose on the 1/2" it comes straight forward for your necklace. Then the 3/8" long hose drops to the canister. Where does it cross?

Bob,

With the ATX200 it's the other way around - you use the short hose on the 1/2" port so that the long hose doesn't cross it. Not sure about the DST (been a while since I've pulled it out to use), or the ATX100s (haven't got any).

Ah ... my bad. Thought the DST, ATX100, and ATX200 all had the ports in the same orientation.
