Just curious. I used Aqua-Seal for the first time about a month ago and it look/smelled/behaived just like Shoe Goo. And from what I remember you get more Shoe-Goo for the $.

A buddy of mine use Aqua-seal on everything his Dry suit,camera housing,gloves,hood
etc. I know he buys his tubes at Wal-mark for half the price from your LDS.
 
Shoe-goo is thicker than aquaseal, and didn't stick to my drysuit as well.

You could get the MSDS for each and compare them to see if they are the same or similar "stuff".
