Berlin: Massive aquarium home to 1,500 fish bursts – DW – 12/16/2022

More than 100 firefighters were called to the scene at the Radisson Blu complex in the German capital's Mitte district. The 16-meter aquarium houses 1,500 tropical fish. Two people have so far been reported injured.

I also had the impression that the fish corner in my grocery store was filled up more than usual....

But... all jokes apart: 05:30 was a mercyfull time for this incident. One hour later and the floor would have been occupied with the early breakfast customer. This would have resulted in more than only two injuries...

1500 fish, unknown corals, likely millions in water damage... the tank was just "updated" as well. Ugh
