Going green as in use the wind to dry everything. That way no water is consumed for washing the towels, no detergent to send down the drain to pollute the water supply. No cotton killed to make the towels (for those who believe when you kill a plant it feels it). Very eco friendly way to dry off. May be offensive if the person is nasty looking- ya know naked they look like they are wearing a crushed neoprene drysuit! Think about that as you sit down to eat.

If you mean from the diving center, yes it's just close to it. On the other hand, if you from the center of the town, it's like a 15 - 20 minutes walk.

As Red' said. Reef2000 (Red Sea diving dahab egypt with Reef2000) is attached to the hotel - or visa versa depending on your proclivity
10 mins walk to town or 2 mins and 5LE in a taxi..

I've dived there a number of times so if you want more info let me know (I was there a few weeks ago) or drop them a line at the link above..

It's more than 10 mins walk to town! 10 mins from lighthouse won't even get you to Assala!

OK. Its 2.3km from reef2000 to lighthouse. Should enable someone to work it out for themselves!
