NEVER!
Am pricing a brownie tube to carry an aircraft battery for video power.
Wanted: Double steel 130 cf tanks and backplate, Kelly will still have a 1000 psi more than me at the end....

Could probably rig a couple cave light canisters to provide auxillary power through some bulkheads we can drill on your housing. Should last you through the double 130s

I used them on a previous rig and swore to not go back.
Heck, I can barely stand being tethered to the flag.
Though in fairness I did carry it during the lightning storm Monday.
Can't start training a new spotter now.:D
Also she is not fond of frequent surfacing to see where I have wandered off to during a long photo shoot.

Nice solo dive this morning 2:45 long. Water a bit cool, but the vis was nice. JahJahWarrior posted a similar photo, and I thought I could never shoot something like that with my camera. That little camera continues to surprise...

A spotted eagle ray sighting. Lower right is a dark area. That is divers standing, getting ready to enter the water. Little did they know the beauty that just went past.

All excited 'cause I thought I found the newly identified Florida Hamlet. Do a little research, and Mtlblock (and others not posting here) have photographed it already at the bridge (and are part of the published paper with the taxonomy of the fish!). And, this is probably a Barred hybrid.. sigh..

One last one for today.
A worm of some sort, I am guessing. I saw about 8" of it, about an inch thick and almost translucent.

Scuba Jenny, I'm no expert and have not even been to BHB (except as a kid to walk over the bridge when my grandmother lived nearby), but the worm-like creature you photographed looks like a sea cucumber to me. It's similar to the "beaded sea cucumber" in Humann's book. I've seen this sort of cucumber several times in the Sea of Cortez.
