Bonaire - Best Sites for Garden Eels?

We finally got out to Invisibles yesterday late afternoon. Didn't see any on the swim out to the reef (although did see lots of sets of tentacle-ish shrimp antennae, very neat!). Finally found the garden eels at 76 ft, on the sandy channel between the reefs. Spent awhile watching them... had a visit from a very inquisitive juvenile flounder about a foot in front of our noses while eel-watching... amazing the little things you see when you stop to smell the garden eels!

Very pretty site overall. As we were there around 6pm, were treated to the rush hour traffic of creole wrasse commuting in endless streams north along the sand channel... accompanied by a rather large barracuda! Watched for about 10 minutes and the traffic never let up (much like in L.A., unfortunately..... but much prettier!)

I love creole wrasse rush hour. On our last trip, I was treated to an even weirder display of paired creole wrasses apparently mating as they'd press together and ascend toward the surface.

Unfortunately one of them got confused and hit on a parrotfish instead. Bonaire seems very open to interracial dating:
