Mi Banana could have been my recommendation. Rumba Grill has some good cheap fish dishes as well if still there. It was up for sale when I was last on Bonaire in August.
I ate at Rumba a couple of weeks ago. Still there. I didn't see a for sale sign but that doesn't mean it isn't for sale.
 
The for sale ad was in the local newspaper, not at the restaurant.
Same people operating the restaurant? Same menu? Food quality?
 
As a follow up to my trip report and pony bottle missing from my checked luggage when I arrived in Bon, I just received a check from United for full reimbursement and an apology.
