British wreck divers fined for retrieving artifacts

This has been a very heated topic, as it always is, with individuals at both ends of the spectrum. Most simply, one should obey the law or be at risk for being prosecuted for breaking it. We all have the right to agree or disagree with the law but are also must take responsibilty for our behavior.

If these two divers broke the law, they deserve to be punished appropriately. Their fines seem pretty modest considering the duration and magnitude of the offense.
 
The fantastic amounts of stuff these guys had gave me the impression (yes, jumping to a conclusion on admittedly little evidence) that they were probably planning to sell it. it possible that many others are esp. hot about this because they made the same assumption - which admittedly could be entirely wrong.
