But DAM it was cold!
water temps got down to about 66 degrees at the bottom

a little dive report from a cry baby south florida diver lol
Perspective is everything I guess. Up here, we hope to get toasty warm temperatures like that by August (on the surface... the bottom is rarely better than 55), and relish the opportunity to remove our hoods for a week or two.

Of course when diving wet, we mostly dive 7mm suits, sometimes 7mm 2-piece. You might find one of our cold water diving tricks helpful though. Next time you go, bring a thermos full of very warm/hot water, and pour a little bit in the suit immediately before and immediately after the dive. It'll buy you a little bit more time before the cold gets a foothold, and make the wait on the boat a lot more tolerable.

hehe I shouldn't complain then of our cold water! , you definitely got it cold
thanks for the advice!

55 degrees I have drank Beer warmer than that! EeeGads!
