Experienced divers prefer unpainted aluminum cylinders because unpainted cylinders better resist corrosion and retain their appearance with heavy use. We offer the brushed no-coat factory finish on our aluminum cylinders.

  • "Clear" is a shiny clear coating with poor durability and is often confused with unpainted finishes.
  • "Brushed No-Coat" is a smooth bright unpainted finish that retains it's appearance with heavy use. 'BNC' costs more than other finishes.
  • "Shot-Blast" is a textured matte unpainted finish, decals do not adhere well to shot-blast.
