A quick overview of my situation - I've been doing underwater photography for several years now, currently shooting a Canon G9 in an Ikelite housing with a Sea & Sea YS-90 stobe mounted on a flex arm. I've grown tired of having to do all my exposures on manual, so I'm switching to an Ikelite flash so I can get true TTL.
So my question is this: since I'm going to buy the strobe package from Ikelite that (depending on my preference) could utilize either a flex arm or the more rigid arm setup, which should I go with? I've always used a flex arm, so I have no experience with the rigid setup. Who here has used both, what's your preference between the two, and why? Opinions would be greatly appreciated.
